JockFest to help with extra income ideas

The final session has been confirmed for the RadioToday social conference at Alton Towers – How to make extra money from audio.

A panel of experts will give tips and advice based on their experience of making extra money on the side whilst employed full time.

jockfest_logoHear how they attracted new business, tackled conflict of interests, and enjoyed a growing number of clients by providing something different to radio stations in the UK and around the world.

We’ll also hear some of their finest work, some cheeky outtakes and there may even be that anorak moment when they play their favourite jingle.

Dave Bethell worked as a radio presenter but started producing his own music tracks. He now runs one of the fastest growing radio production libraries.

Simon Prentice grew up around jingles (hard not to when your father is Steve England!) – and now runs his own jingle and production company.

Steve England was one half of the once dominating jingle UK company Alfasound and still keeps his hand in the business even after retirement.

Guy Harris is now a full time voice over but continues to present radio programmes.

The panel is chaired by Chris Stevens, who is Group Deputy Programme Director at Real and Smooth Ltd, but for the past decade or so has run his own production company.
