Lakeland Radio adds third FM frequency

CN Group’s Kendal-based radio station Lakeland Radio has added another FM frequency to serve the town of Keswick on 101.4 MHz FM.

The station already covers Kendal on 100.1 and Windermere on 100.8 since its launch in 2001 and is giving away prizes to market the new frequency.

The station says: “If you live or work in Keswick / Threlkeld / Braithwaite / Portinscale / Bassenthwaite we’ll have the latest Local News for the Lake District, dependable Traffic and Travel News, the Fell Top Forecast, What’s on Community Events and all your favourite hits from the 60′s to the present day!”
