Radio jingle and imaging company Reelworld is moving its European headquarters from London to MediaCityUK as part of the company’s expansion.
The international company has chosen the 17th floor of the Blue Tower to house its new European office and studio base.
ReelWorld’s European Managing Director Anthony Gay told RadioToday this morning: “Media City has quickly established a great reputation as a hub of creativity and it’s the perfect location to base our activities”.
ReelWorld has been building its presence across the continent over the last two years and Germany’s 104.6 RTL, the number one radio station in Berlin, will become the company’s 100th active European jingle client when they take their new sound to air next month.
Subscribers to ReelWorld’s Production Vault service include Radio 538 in The Netherlands, NRJ in France, Austria’s KRONEHIT, as well as Bauer’s Place Portfolio here in the UK.
The new MediaCityUK office will include three studios and plans to be open in time for this year’s Radio Festival where ReelWorld are sponsors of Room two for the second successive year.
ReelWorld is also exclusive sponsors of the upcoming RadioToday social evening “Pre-Frestival Drinks” the night before The Radio Festival, to be held once again at OnThe7th Lounge, just 10 floors below Reelworld’s new studios. Full details of this free event will be announced shortly.
MediaCityUK is home to BBC Radio 5 live, BBC Radio Manchester and of course RadioToday. Global Radio’s Capital, Xfm, Gold, Real Radio and Real Radio XS are also within the same Salford Quays area.
