Glasgow to host Sound Women event

Sound Women, the networking and development group for women in radio are holding a networking event in Glasgow.

The night will be hosted by Sharon Mair BBC Project Executive Commonwealth Games 2014 and the Managing Editor of BBC Radio Scotland on Tuesday 19th November from 6.30pm – 8.30pm, in the Viewing Theatre, BBC Scotland, Pacific Quay, Glasgow.

The event will also be attended by senior colleagues from across the audio industry including representatives from the BBC, commercial radio and independent radio production. The night will also see two special guest speakers representing female radio talent in Scotland.

This event follows similar networking events in London, hosted by Tim Davie and Manchester, which was hosted by Peter Salmon, Director of BBC North.
