London company helps launch KIIS Sydney

The team at production company Contraband Media have played their part in the launch and station sound of Sydney’s newest radio station, KIIS 1065.

The opening sequence, which took place at 7pm Sunday GMT (6am Monday) contained production elements from Imaging Blueprint and was the first thing heard on the new station along with major signings Kyle and Jackie O.

KIIS 1065 is owned by the Australian Radio Network and has just changed name from Mix 106.5, poaching Kyle Sandilands and Jackie Henderson from rivals 2Day FM.

Contraband Media Directors Adam Burgess & Tom Cross told RadioToday.co.uk: “We’re so proud the very talented KISS 1065 team chose ‘Imaging Blueprint’. The launch sequence was epic and Kyle and Jackie O sounded brilliant, it was a real buzz to hear the ‘IB’ elements and work-parts all over it!”

The station is part owned by Clear Channel, owners of KIIS FM in LA. Tanya D. Juhasz, Executive Director, International Business at Clear Channel Media and Entertainment said: “Imaging Blueprint is one of the most exciting products in the world of Production and Imaging. I have rarely seen a new service “fly off the shelf” as this has upon its release into the market. I love when products literally sell themselves!”
