In Australia, Daily Mail and General Trust PLC has won the bid for a new Melbourne FM radio licence – which was auctioned by the Australian Government.
DMGT are reported to have paid 20min stg. The new station is expected to be launched during 2005
Earlier this year, they won a second radio licence in the Sydney area.
