Further to the announcements of 1 February 2006 and 17 February 2006, Milestone announces completion of the disposal of its 52 per. cent controlling shareholding in Rugby Broadcasting Company Limited (trading as Rugby FM) to CN
Group Limited for a total cash consideration of ?644,961.20.
This means the company now only have an interest in one station, Passion 107.9 in Oxford.
Chief Executive, Andy Craig, said:
‘Today sees Milestone complete the sale of its remaining non wholly-owned interests. As previously advised, the Board is now pursuing its stated strategy of maximising shareholder value from its wholly-owned assets.’
