Channel 4 have taking further steps into radio, with the launch of Channel 4 Radio. Chrysalis Radio Chief Exec Phil Riley welcomed the launch, telling Radiojam he exepcts Channel 4 to “add to what is already a rich and vibrant area of the radio industry”.
While not operating a radio station in the traditional sense, the Channel 4 Radio website offers a range of podcasts based on content available on their TV stations. Audio available includes The Morning Report, a 30 minute daily news bulletin produced by the Channel 4 news team, and UK Lost, a weekly podcast hosted by Iain Lee based on the TV series.
