Aberdeen licence advertised

Ofcom have advertised a new licence in Scotland to cover Aberdeen and the surrounding area. The new station will cover around a quarter of a million adults.

The closing-date for the receipt of completed applications is 3.00 p.m. on Thursday 5 October 2006. Ofcom requires ?5,000 for each application submitted.

Expected applicants so far are ACR FM and Guardian Media Group.
