GCap Media's Wrexham and Chester station MFM 103.4 is no more – at least in name. The station has listened to feedback from listeners who told the station to change the name back to Marcher Sound. The news was announced at 8am today followed by a trip down memory lane about what happened in 1983, the year the original Marcher Sound launched.
The station is now known as sing-a-long radio for Wrexham and Chester.
