Riviera celebrates 21 years

Monaco based English-speaking radio station 106.5 Riviera Radio are looking forward to celebrating 21 years of broadcasting this year, after growing their audience by 25 per cent in 2006. Former Atlantic 252 MD Paul Kavanagh is running the station and is delighted with its current position.

"We have grown the stations audience for 7 ratings books in a row, and the business has never been better in the 21 year history of the station. We expect the growth to continue. I am delighted to report the station continues to be a favourite of Princes, Rock stars and some of the richest people in the world," Paul told RadioToday.co.uk

According to Mediametrie the French rating system, in 2006 the station audience grew by 25% and the English speaking station is now close to the top 5 stations in the south of France. It was a bumper year for sales with 32% increase, while the market grew by just 6%.
