dMarc founders quit Google

AMERICA: Chad and Ryan Steelberg, the founding brothers of automated radio ads company dMarc, which Google bought 13 months ago for $100 million, have quit. According to reports, tension was growing between the brothers and Google regarding the radio ad sales arena.

A Google spokesman confirmed the departures to [link=http://publications.mediapost.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=Articles.showArticleHomePage&art_aid=55287]Online Media Daily[/link] , adding that the company intends to continue testing radio ads despite the exits. "Google is committed to the audio business. We will continue to gather feedback during the Audio Ads beta test, and are happy with the progress to date."
