New BBC Radio logos all round

New logos for national BBC Radio stations have started to appear on some of the corporation's web pages. It seems unique identity is out, and a new uniformed look is the way forward. A round circle with a number in it is the main part of the new design, as previewed on RadioToday.co.uk.

The BBC Asian Network is set to gain a new logo also – a simple capital 'A' in a round circle with the full title written vertical along side.

There are some variations in the numbers, with Radio 3's reflecting a classical music instruction, whilst Radio 4's includes an inverted comma, to represent the speech content of the station.

The new look is rumoured to be officially launched from Monday July 30th.
