Radio Scilly founder and morning presenter Keri Jones is attracting not only new listeners to the station, but the stars are visiting too. David Beckham, whilst filming a Adidas promotional campaign took time out to visit the radio station and sign items to raffle for island charities.

The Radio Scilly team gave the news of what David said about the islands exclusively to their mainland commercial radio partner, Atlantic FM. The community station is a wholly local, stand-alone service staffed by 2 full time staff and 67 volunteers.
