Rock Radio is putting the final touches together for its first birthday in January. The GMG Radio station is planning to rock Glasgow with an exclusive gig featuring Logan, Doogie White and Toby Jepson, along with 700 listeners.
The first birthday celebrations will take place at The Garage in Glasgow on Thursday 10th January 2008. The concert will raise money for the music therapy charity Nordoff-Robbins Scotland, the station’s nominated charity partner.
Ciaran O’Toole, head of presentation for Rock Radio and organiser of the event said, “This is an exclusive gig that will rock you! We wanted to raise money for Nordoff-Robbins, go to a gig, have a few drinks and talk to our listeners so thought doing it all on one night would be a great idea. So we’ve done it…and it's going to be Rock & Roll”.
