It might not seem like much of a headline, but when you realise the tattoo in question is of the radio station logo, it gets a little more interesting.
Tom Russell, who presents the daytime show on GMG's Rock Radio in Glasgow brought home the surprise to his wife Sandra after 26 years in the rock business. But instead of branding himself with his favourite group or hobby, the rocker decided to show his commitment to his job.
Tom said, “I can’t believe after 26 years as a rock DJ, I’ve finally got a tattoo. These days, men and women of all ages have tattoos and it’s something I made a decision to do whilst sober! Now I will be able to stand with my fellow rock heroes and match them with my own tattoo”.
