Gold Plymouth gets thumbs up

A recent content sampling report on Gold Plymouth has proven satisfactory by regulators Ofcom. The GCap Media station was found to be operating within its Format.

The 24 hour medium-wave station was sampled on January 6th, 7th and 8th 2008 and was sticking to its requirement to broadcast no more than 25 per cent speech, 24 hour news and retain its cap on tracks less than 15 years old.
However, Ofcom noted some errors during automation, including the speeding-up of news bulletins and a traffic report being repeated.
They said: [blockquote]"There is one locally produced and presented programme daily. The speech content during the locally presented programme during the sampling period was limited to the same local drop-ins as used during other non-locally produced and presented times."[/blockquote]
