More licences re-advertised

The opportunity to take-over the local radio licence for Canterbury or Dover and Folkestone is now available. Ofcom is inviting declarations of intent to anyone wishing to apply for the franchise, currently held by CTFM Limited and South East Radio Limited respectively. Both are due to expire in September 2009.

Ofcom proposes to grant further licences for these two areas, for a period from the expiry date of the current licences to 31 December 2015. The closing-date for the receipt of declarations of intent from prospective licence applicants is 3.00pm on 6 May 2008.
