The Street Team from Bauer Radio's Lancashire station Rock FM have unveiled their new collection of station vehicles – four branded 49cc mopeds.
The vehicles, which have been loaned to the station for 12 months by The Rocket Centre, boast an economic 49cc engine, a stark contrast to the days of the infamous thundertruck which registered a huge 5800cc.
Marketing Manager Nikki Murray said: “In a world where environmental issues are at the top of everyone’s agenda it’s imperative that as a brand which actively promotes eco-efficiency we believe in what we preach.
"We’ve invested money and time into identifying areas to which we can make an instant difference and the mopeds are a welcome addition to our new eco-efficient era.”
