Bright and Splash share more

Bright 106.4 and Splash FM have been given permission by Ofcom to share an extra five hours a week, by running a four hour shared daytime programme on weekdays.

West Sussex Today will now run from 11am to 3pm on both stations – previously the stations only had permission to network three daytime hours per weekday.
Ofcom, in granting the Format change, said: "Given the separation of news between stations, we believe a four hour regionalised programme out of peak is a reasonable request and is granted."
Both stations continue to run their required 10 hours a day local programming, and have permission to co-locate in the same building in Worthing.
