Bath and Brunel to be sold?

Bristol-based consultancy firm Triple Media has been appointed by Laser Broadcasting as interim manager for Bath FM and Brunel FM, and a sale could be possible within weeks.

The Bath Chronicle reports that staff at the station have been working without pay to keep it going but they have now been given the majority of the cash they were owed.
Triple Media chief executive Gary Cottier-Jansen told the paper: “The deal is a big step towards keeping a dedicated Bath radio station. Staff have been through a difficult time lately, due to the ongoing issues faced by Laser Broadcasting.
“But listeners and advertisers have been extremely supportive of the staff as they have worked to continue 24-hour broadcasting.
