Dean Sullivan, former Brookside bad boy Jimmy Corkhill, now a presenter on Bauer's Liverpool speech station City Talk has announced he is planning on buying Brookside Close.
The set is currently up for sale, and Dean told listeners to his daily radio show: "I've had a word with my bank manager and I am seriously considering taking out a loan. I have it on good authority that Brookside is coming back. Someone I know has heard it from the horse's mouth."
The close is thought to be worth around £600,000 for all 13 houses.
