The Mirror has joined the Mail in attacking the BBC over the latest slip by Radio 1 breakfast presenter Chris Moyles.
In a rant by journalist Tony Parsons, Moyles is called a fat, ugly ba*tard, a fat racist and a fat coward, grotesquely overweight, and the fattest man ever to work for Radio 1.
Parsons pointless attack refers to Chris Moyles talking about Polish people, in which the presenter said: "I’ve always found in my experience that prostitutes make very good cleaners and their ironing – brilliant… I just find if you’re Polish, you’re very good at ironing… and prostitutes… good also at fixing cars."
To which Mirror journalist Tony Parsons says: "Sounds to me as if the fattest man ever to work for Radio 1 is saying that Poles are somehow lesser human beings than representatives of a superior race, such as himself (members of the master race are invariably fat, ugly bastards like Chris)."
Chris has since apologised for the slip after complaints reached almost 100. The statement read: "I didn't mean to link Polish people and prostitution in the way that has been suggested, but of course I realise that some people have taken it that way and to those people I'm sorry for the unintentional offence."
