Wave 105's Creative Consultant, Jon Hiscock has won the Professional Services category at the 2009 VOX Awards.
The station also scooped ‘Highly Commended’ awards in the Using Humour, Public Service and Financial Legal Services categories.
On winning the award, Jon says; “I am thrilled to have received this award and it is also a real honour that the station has been awarded ‘highly commended’ in a further three categories. It’s a great feeling to know that the hard work both my colleague Richard and I have put in has been recognised.”
A VOX award is recognised throughout the UK Radio Industry as a valuable acknowledgment of creative excellence in radio production. Winners will be presented their framed awards at a prestigious weekend ceremony held on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th May 2009 at the Chesford Grange Hotel, Warwickshire.
