TLRC closes Mix 107 FM down

The Local Radio Company is to close Mix 107 at High Wycombe on 1 July and hand back the licence to broadcast to Ofcom. This comes after UKRD’s takeover of the Company.

After a radical overhaul of the senior management team at TLRC, the company now appears to be instituting a series of changes in an attempt to push TLRC’s finances back into the black.
Mix 107 FM serves the High Wycombe and Amersham area with an audience of 15,000 listeners. As of the 31 May the station had net liabilities of £1,168,372.
Since taking over loss-making TLRC, UKRD have taken steps to offload a number of stations, recently selling Bournemouth-based Fire Radio and Macclesfield's Silk FM in quick succession.
