TLRC to close Wycombe office

Duke St, High Wycombe – once the nerve centre for TLRC's growing portfolio of local stations is to close next year with a number of staff facing redundancy.

Online reports suggest William Rogers, chief executive of TLRC (and CE or UKRD, TLRC's majority shareholder) confirmed plans to close the office, saying there would be an opportunity to look for staff redeployment in some office areas but in others redundancy was necessary.
Around 10 people are currently thought to be employed there in finance, traffic, human resources and online. High Wycombe's radio station Mix 107, which was also based there and owned by TLRC, closed down last week.
The lease on the building at 11 Duke Street is due to expire next summer.
