BBC Radio 1 is offering listeners the chance to broadcast for fifteen minutes on the network on Christmas Day in their Tinsel Takeover competition.
Twenty-four listeners will get the chance to pre-record their segment, selecting a track from the station’s playlist, a festive tune and a song of their choice.
Radio 1's Greg James launched Tinsel Takeover on his lunchtime show this week and he'll be selecting the winners. He’ll present the Christmas Day Breakfast Show live from 6.00 to 10am, and then handover to the listeners for their 15 minutes of fame.
Greg said: "We always like to try new things out on Radio 1 and this is a biggie – handing over six hours to our audience!
"This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for 24 listeners to present on the station and I can't wait to select the lucky winners."
