Radio Enfield in Middlesex has been awarded a lottery grant for six thousand pounds.
The money will go towards upgrading studio equipment and run more automated programmes in addtion to its live programmes.
Station Manager Andy Higgins told the [link=http://www.enfieldindependent.co.uk/news/7983900.Chase_Farm_s_radio_station_given_Lottery_grant_boost/?]local newspaper[/link]: “This is fantastic news. Not only will this investment enhance our ability to produce professional programmes but it also gives us the ability to include more variety of programmes during the day for the patients. We can also involve more members of the community in our work as we expand the service.
"This money will make a huge difference to both our volunteers and the patients in hospital.”
