It’s Pure work for Cridland

Round-the-world traveller James Cridland has joined PURE, working three days a week with their internet radio team.

James recently left the BBC as Head of Future Media and Technology, Audio and Music, and travelled the world to investigate how radio works in other parts of the globe.

James wrote on his [link=http://james.cridland.net/blog/employment-update/]blog[/link]: "Just like my role at Audioboo and others, it’s not a full-time role: I’m continuing to work for radio broadcasters too. And I’m afraid I’ll not be able to blog too much about the process either."

Previous, James was Digital Director at Virgin Radio responsible for Virgin's strategy development, technology planning and content direction of the Virgin Radio digital media portfolio. His earlier career included working as a copywriter for Pennine Radio and Viking FM before becoming evening presenter for The Pulse.

James owns mediauk.com and recently featured in [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/e]eRADIO[/link]'s "10 Questions" feature, which you can read [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.5687]here[/link].
