Mid-Wales station Radio Maldwyn has been saved from closure after various people expressed an interest in buying it.
Insolvency firm Irwin and Company told BBC News a deal will be struck next month, subject to contract.
Interested parties are thought to have included a community group, two radio stations and someone who ran a radio station, [link=http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-mid-wales-12038584]says[/link] the BBC, which also says the station hopes to be back on-air next month.
It was [link=https://radiotoday.co.uk/news.php?extend.6558]reported[/link] earlier this month that the station had stopped broadcasting regular programmes and was close to being wound up.
