The latest RAJAR results, for quarter one of 2011, have been released, and they show 91.6 per cent of the UK population tune in to radio every week.
Together we listen to over a million hours of radio, with a quarter of that taking place via a digital receiver such as DAB, Freeview and Freesat.
Almost 20 million adults now have access to a DAB receiver, and mobile listening is up by 10.2 per cent year on year with 13.8 per cent of adults aged 15+ in Q1, 2011 saying they have listened in this way.
Changes in reporting this quarter sees the re-branding of Galaxy and other Global stations to create the Capital FM network, Heart 106 became Gem 106, Kiss FM went quasi-national and Bauer introduced two new product portfolios.
Stations leaving the RAJAR reports include Imagine FM and Connect FM.
Record amount of listening is since new RAJAR methodology was introduced in Q2, 2007.
