Real Radio Wales goes red for the day

Staff at Real Radio Wales are turning up to work wearing red today as part of a drive to encourage listeners to give blood.

The station has teamed up with Welsh Blood for World Blood Donor Day.

Presenters will broadcast special messages through the day to thank donors in Wales for giving blood – as well as making appeals for new donors to come forward.

Tony Dowling, Real Radio Wales Managing Director, told us; “Welsh Blood are not only a long term and valued client, they are friends of the station and provide a vital and lifesaving service across the whole of our country. It’s going to be a fun day through which we could all be helping to save lives and who knows, one day you might be grateful for a pint of the red stuff.”
