Scottish radio training school launched

A new radio broadcasting tuition centre has launched in Glasgow, offering courses for anyone interested in getting into radio in Scotland.

The service has been organised by the Bishopbriggs Media Centre, and will be hosted by West FM’s Liam McCann and Real Radio’s Brian Woolfson.

Alastair McPhee, founder and Managing Director of the charity “Cue and Review – Print Speaking to the Blind”, which is owned by Bishopbriggs Media Centre, said: “For 30 years we have worked with young unemployed people. This change of strategy now recognises the high quality studios that we can offer to the Scottish media community. I am delighted that new radio trainees and professionals alike will benefit from this recent investment”.
