Absolute Radio has enjoyed great results in this survey, with their stable of stations collectively boasting a ten-year audience high in total hours and a nine-year high in reach.
Over quarter of a million more people have tuned to Absolute Radio in the past quarter, an 18% rise that takes them to 1.6m listeners.
Total hours are up by 37% Q on Q to 14.3m, that’s a 22% increase Yr on Yr to give them their highest hours since launching.
Christian O’Connell’s further proven himself as the deserving winner of the Arqiva Commercial Radio Breakfast Show of the Year, with an all-time high audience of 1.3m listeners &ban enviable increase of 28% Q on Q or 44% Yr on Yr.
Digital stations Absolute 80’s, 90’s 00’s and Classic Rock have all contributed to the brand’s growth with growth in audience and average hours across the board. Absolute 80’s remains the most popular with 894,000 listeners.
