Isle of Wight Radio partners with press

The Isle of Wight County Press is working with Isle of Wight Radio to help raise money for charity.

The two companies will work together finding good causes then awarding them with new websites and all money raised by islanders.

Claire Willis, managing director of Isle of Wight Radio, said: “By joining forces we can give two Island charities a real boost and have some fun along the way with a variety of challenges. Combined our two companies can really make a difference, we have a great track record of helping causes such as The Gracie May Appeal, The Earl Mountbatten Hospice, Race for Life and many others.”

Alan Marriott, editor of the County Press, said: “It is great our two companies are working in tandem for the greater good of the Isle of Wight. We hope to have a lot of fun raising lots of cash during 2012.”

The two media outlets will encourage listeners and readers to raise cash for the chosen charities.
