Quiz night for radio people in Wales

The Radio Academy’s Wales branch is hosting its first event of 2012 this week and is inviting people who work in the industry to get involved.

Their pub quiz night tomorrow (1 Feb) in Cardiff will be hosted by BBC Radio Wales presenter Chris Corcoran.

Radio Academy branch events are a great way to meet people working across all sectors of our industry in an informal setting, have a few drinks and make some new friends and work contacts.

A maximum of 5 people are allowed per team and it costs £10 per team to enter and have a chance at being crowned Radio Academy Wales Pub Quiz Champions 2012. The event starts at 7.30pm upstairs in O’Neills on St Mary’s Street in Cardiff city centre on Wednesday.

Branch chair Colin Paterson said: “The Wales Branch is back and we want you to get involved! I hope that 2012 will be an exciting year for the Radio Academy in Wales with many more events to come.”
