Isle of Wight Radio has teamed up with TV’s Chris Packham to bring listeners wildlife tips and information to help look after and appreciate local wildlife.
The advice was written and recorded by Chris himself for Isle of Wight Radio to highlight how easy but enjoyable it can be to look after and get closer to nature by following some simple steps this Christmas time.
The Isle of Wight Radio ‘Chris Packham Countdown to Christmas’ promotion is supported by the Isle of Wight Zoo.
Isle of Wight Radio’s Programme Director Paul Topping said: “When it comes to wildlife and broadcasting it doesn’t get much better than Chris Packham. We were looking for an alternative to refresh the normal Christmas feel to our programming, so working with the Isle of Wight Zoo and being able to work with Chris to record these features gave us a real alternative countdown to Christmas.’
