Magic’s Neil Fox arrested for the third time

The absence of Neil Fox from the Magic breakfast show continues as the presenter is arrested over an allegation that he sexually assaulted a woman in the early 1990s.

Scotland Yard said he was arrested on Friday after voluntarily attending a central London police station. It’s the third time in six months he’s been held over sexual assault allegations.

He has not been on-air since police visited Magic’s studio in One Golden Square and arrested him after his breakfast show. He has now been bailed until a date in late March, pending further inquiries.

Bauer Media is unable to comment on any possible return to Magic for Neil, telling RadioToday in December: “We have no comment to make on what is a police matter.”

Neil Fox was also arrested twice last year, once in September 2014 and then again for three further alleged sexual assaults in December.

Nick Snaith is currently acting as interim Breakfast Show presenter on Magic in the Morning.
