Maajid Nawaz joins LBC for weekend shows

Author and columnist Maajid Nawaz is to become the new host of weekend afternoons on LBC.

Starting on 17th September, Nawaz will host the debate every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm to 3pm.

Nawaz is the Founding Chairman of Quilliam, a global think tank focusing on matters of integration, religious freedom, extremism and integration. His autobiography Radical has been released both in the UK and the USA, along with his second co-authored book Islam and the Future of Tolerance.

Nawaz joins Nick Ferrari, James O’Brien, Shelagh Fogarty, Iain Dale, Katie Hopkins and Andrew Castle as a regular on the national digital station, which also has Speak to Sadiq with the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan, Call the Commissioner with Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe and The Alex Salmond Phone-in with the former First Minister of Scotland.
