Smooth Radio North East is making its own headlines today after a post was sent by mistake on its Twitter account.
The update said “I’m fuc*ed mate. No more drinks for me”.
The tweet was clearly meant for a personal account but the unknown individual confused the station account for his or her own before posting to the station’s ten and a half thousand followers.
The blunder was picked up by followers and screengrabbed before it was deleted around half an hour after it was posted at 11:30pm Wednesday night.
The tweet was geo-tagged to London rather than the station’s North-East region.
