Radiocentre has appointed Clementine Bernhardt as its new Head of Marketing.
Clementine joins Radiocentre from Getty Images where she was marketing lead for the UK agency and corporate sectors, responsible for sector marketing strategy, and production of creative, research-driven campaigns.
Previously she was Associate Marketing Manager at legal publisher LexisNexis, where her role focused on planning, developing and executing multi-channel, segment-specific marketing strategies.
As part of the role, Clementine will also be Head of Marketing for Radioplayer, the non-profit partnership between the BBC and commercial radio.
Radiocentre’s Client Director Lucy Barrett said: “As radio enjoys record revenues and record audiences, Clementine is exactly what Radiocentre needs right now. She comes with a world of experience and has an excellent track record in running events, on point research visualisation and very impressive marketing campaigns. She will help us amplify the radio success story among our key audiences.”
Radiocentre’s Head of Marketing Clementine Bernhardt added: “A habit of a lifetime, I am addicted to radio. It’s an exciting time to be joining Radiocentre, advertisers are becoming increasingly switched on to radio as the medium to build trust, with ever-increasing levels of ROI and a proven multiplier effect. Most of all, I am inspired by the power of commercial radio to drive campaigns with limitless creative potential, and very much look forward to reflecting these back to the industry.”
Clementine’s first project will be continuing the work on Radiocentre’s campaign to combat any decline in advertising spend due to uncertainty around Brexit. She will also play a crucial role in delivering Radiocentre’s annual Tuning In conference during Radio Audio Week 2019.
She was also recently awarded a Distinction in Marketing Week’s Mini MBA in Marketing led by their columnist and marketing professor Mark Ritson.
