Nation Broadcasting is looking for radio stations of all genres and sizes to work alongside it on upcoming DAB digital radio projects.
Nation currently operates DAB multiplexes in Mid & West Wales, North Wales and Glasgow. It also has shareholdings in DAB multiplexes in Suffolk and North East Wales & Cheshire.
Ofcom has recently announced the advertisement of new multiplexes in the UK, including Cumbria. With upcoming small scale applications across the UK and new local DAB multiplexes also a possibility, Nation is encouraging broadcasters to get in touch.
Ash Elford, DAB Platform Manager at Nation Broadcasting told RadioToday: “Nation Broadcasting has a strategy to significantly develop its presence in DAB digital radio broadcasting. We have a proven track record in working with large radio groups, independents community radio stations alike and we want to ensure that everyone can benefit from a digital future.
We’re really keen to hear from existing and aspiring broadcasters that share our vision. If broadcasting on DAB is part of a station’s plans, they should get in touch so that they can be part of some really interesting projects and opportunities we are developing across the UK.”
Interested broadcasters are encouraged to email ash.elford@nationbroadcasting.co.uk to register their interest.
