Radio Plymouth celebrates a decade on the air

Plymouth’s independent commercial radio station is celebrating 10 years on air this week.

Radio Plymouth’s first-ever broadcast was at 10am on Sunday 28 February 2010 and was launched by TV presenter, Phillip Schofield – one of the original shareholders.

Managing Director, Tricia Duff said: “It’s amazing to be celebrating 10 years and we’re so proud to still be entertaining and informing the people of this great city.

“Our team all live locally and love Plymouth; I believe that’s what makes us stand out.

“We wouldn’t be here without the support of so many local businesses and of course, our amazing listeners.”
