Chelmer Radio is highlighting and supporting Baby Loss Awareness Week 2020 on-air during its daytime programmes.
Every year, Baby Loss Awareness Week aims to raise awareness about pregnancy and baby death in the UK.
This year, the station is highlighting the isolation many local people experience after pregnancy and baby loss – women, partners, other family members and friends.
A series of interviews will be aired on the daytime show from 10am-2pm each day from the 9-15th October.
Programme Director David Baker said: “This is a hugely distressing and emotional time for many people, what we aim to do is let people out there know there is help and how good it is to talk, we are also trying to get as many businesses and organisations to light up their buildings in Pink and Blue and pay tribute to those beautiful babies who have been lost.
Chelmer Radio streams online serving Chelmsford, Maldon, Witham, Danbury and South Woodham Ferrers.
