talksport to broadcast Lions Tour of South Africa coverage

talkSPORT is promising over 150 hours of exclusive Lions coverage for the upcoming Lions Tour of South Africa in the World Champions.

Alongside commentary of every Lions match including the three Test series, talkSPORT will deliver previews, post-match analysis, phone-ins and bring all the colour from South Africa to supporters in the UK.

The talkSPORT network will broadcast bespoke previews ahead of all Tests, a daily Lions Diary programme on talkSPORT 2 throughout the tour and podcast programming of the Tour through the talkSPORT app and audio streaming sites, as well as bespoke YouTube content.

All of the warm-ups and Tests will be broadcast across talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2 to the network’s audience of more than three million listeners. Full commentary with build-up programming and post-match analysis including the opportunity for rugby fans to have their say and interact with our top team of pundits will be broadcast across talkSPORT and talkSPORT 2.

talkSPORT’s commentary team includes former Irish Winger Tommy Bowe, former Springbok Bryan Habana, England World Cup winner Ben Kay and Lions legend Sir Ian McGeechan. The coverage will be presented by Craig Doyle, Hannah Wilkes and Tim Cocker with Andrew McKenna as commentator.
