Global has appointed radio programming specialist Sharon Dastur as Senior Programming & Content Advisor.
Sharon will serve as an extra US liaison to artist managers and record labels, working closely with Global’s Talent & Artist relations team in London, reporting to Global’s Director of Broadcasting James Rea.
Sharon’s career spans over 20 years of music and entertainment industry expertise, including as Senior Vice President of Programming for Z100 New York, iHeartRadio, and most recently, SVP of Promotion at Republic Records.
In New York, Sharon was co-creator and Executive Producer of the annual Z100 Jingle Ball concert at Madison Square Garden.
