Colin Campbell-Austin has been appointed as Head of Inclusion and Employee Experience at PRS for Music.
Reporting into Chief People and Transformation Officer, Suzanne Hughes, with the support of a newly created Diversity and Inclusion and Culture Coordinator role, Colin will be an advocate for all employees.
He will be leading on PRS for Music’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy, as well as employee experience strategy, acting as an ambassador for the organisation’s culture and values.
With equal accountability for recruitment, learning, talent development, and engagement, PRS for Music says this newly created role will ensure that a diversity and inclusion lens is applied and embedded throughout the organisation at every level.
Colin joins following a varied and extensive career in the Diversity and Inclusion field. As People Development and Talent Manager at Channel 4, Colin helped to introduce the broadcaster’s corporate diversity strategy, before joining Telegraph Media Group as Head of Talent, Resourcing and People Development.
After co-founding consultancy firm Diversity in Media, and a role as Director of Volunteering for Pride in London, Colin returned to Channel 4 as Head of 4 Inclusion in 2020. Most recently, Colin joined change facilitation experts VA Consultants as an Associate.
Colin is also the Board Director of People, Diversity and Inclusion for Pride in London, Chair of Board of Trustees for charity Anti Racist Cumbria, and Co-founder of Mentall, a socially responsible organisation focusing on issues surrounding mental health, diversity, and inclusivity from the male perspective.
