Sam Lavery has joined Capital North East as the station’s brand new host of weekday drive.
Sam, from County Durham, takes the reins of Monday – Fridays, 4pm – 7pm, taking over Martin Lowes who decided to leave the company.
Her brand-new show launched on Monday 24th January, after a previous stint on the station as a guest host in 2018.
Sam said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be the new drivetime host on Capital North East and am beyond grateful and excited to join the Global family.
“I’m a massive music fan, so I’m already having the time of my life on-air playing the biggest hits and getting to know our lovely listeners.”
Martin Lowes, who was previously at Signal, hosted his last show on Capital North East on just before Christmas and is having a change of career outside of radio.
