The UK’s only radio station dedicated to serving the country’s nine million paid and unpaid carers is now available on DAB in Manchester.
Care Radio is already available on DAB in London, Surrey, Northeast Hampshire, and Portsmouth and now on the Trial Manchester service.
“In the year we’ve been on air, we have grown a loyal listenership on our digital platforms, but we know that to really make it easy for people to listen, we need to be on DAB,” explained Care Radio CEO John Dash.
“Manchester is the latest in our network of cities where we’re on DAB and we have many more in the pipeline.
“This will help us support the UK’s carers, and give something back to the under-appreciated people who frankly keep this country going.”
More than fifty radio professionals donate their time and skills to the station, backed by a team of finance, fundraising, care sector, PR and technical experts.
