Jeremy Kyle will take on primetime presenting duties on TalkTV and TalkRadio during August while Piers Morgan takes a five-week break.
He’ll take over as the host of Piers Morgan Uncensored from Monday 1st August, with the eponymous host due to return on Monday 5th September.
Jeremy joined TalkRadio in 2018, presenting at weekends before taking on the weekday drivetime show in 2021.
Jeremy said: “It is an honour and a privilege to take the helm on Uncensored while Piers is away. He is the pre-eminent broadcaster of his generation. At least that’s what he told me to say. I’m looking forward to keeping his audiences in the UK, US, Australia and beyond informed, entertained and engaged with the best guests, the most challenging interviews and plenty of fun.”
Piers Morgan said: “I can imagine no finer broadcaster to keep my seat warm. Well, I can, but they weren’t available. I’m sure he’ll do his best.”
After Piers returns, Jeremy is due to launch his own primetime TalkTV show, ‘delivering a review of the day’s news with viewers at its heart’.
News UK says Jeremy’s new show is due to launch ‘in the autumn’.
